Moving Aunt Shirley Out

My great aunt Shirley recently moved to a permanent living facility for the elderly, so we cleaned out her apartment tonight. Here's Paige holding a picture of Aunt Shirley.

A contrast

On a rainy, dreary day like today, I felt I needed a contrast. I bought these flowers on Saturday and the rose has been getting prettier every day.

Honey

In the neighborhood where I work, there is a local honey seller. I needed some honey for some banana bread I'm making, so I stopped by this morning. The honey is so good, you want to stick your finger in it right away and taste it. I've resisted today....so far...

Someone was desperate for a parking space today. I really can't imagine leaving my car parked like that all day! I'm not sure if this picture does justice to how far up the right side of this car is!
