Sometimes people do this as a fundraiser. You pay to have someone's lawn 'mingoed. They can pay to have it removed or placed on someone else's lawn. It looks like there is a note on one of the mingos. You should sneak onto the lawn and read it.
I heart 'mingos, by the way. I used to have a string of 'mingo christmas light. Tacky!
I just saw this exact same thing on the lawn in my parents' neighborhood!! Now I'm even more curious!! :)
Maybe they have surveilance cameras in them like on "Pete and Pete."
I request that you stop standing in front of my house taking pictures with your cell phone. It's extremely creepy.
