I love this tradition. I was going to try it out for myself this year but totally forgot.
What do you do with the decorated gourds?
It's finally fall in Utah. It even snowed a bit in the mountains.
Good news - I'm coming home for over a week at Christmas. I get in Christmas Eve or the day before and will be staying until Jan 3. What What!!! It's going to be awesome.
We give the gourds away or just place them around for decoration. :)
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited you are going to be here for New Years!!! What are we going to do to celebrate!?
Eeeeshk! YAY Emily coming for New Years!!! I think we should decorate gourds to celebrate. Or I suppose we could do Christmas bulbs instead. I do love these crazy family traditions we have - the gourds, gingerbread houses, Peep Dioramas, etc. Good times!

I like the cyclops the best. Can we adopt him?
They are adorable! Did I mention you've got a lot of talent before? They look like so much fun to make! The cyclops definitely is the best one!
