Tonight I went to my friend Valerie's art show. She is such a talented artist! Katherine and I hung out with her daughter Ellery there and she did her best to keep us entertained.

I saw this sad sign this morning at the farmers market. Could they have possibly picked a sadder looking dog to put a slash through? The raindrops on the sign look like tears. It's so pathetic looking it actually made me laugh.

I found this picture today - apparently Justin took a picture of Daisy and I out on a ride. Daisy did most of the work. (Sorry it's a little blurry, I was laughing when I took the picture.)

The calm before the storm

Sarah and I rode through Gallup Park today. Gallup was an easy ride - it was the ride home from there that nearly killed us!

Bird Hills Park

Daisy and I went on a walk today at Bird Hills Park - the weather was perfect for it! If you Ann Arborites haven't been to this park, I would highly recommend it. It's beautiful and one of my favorite places to walk.

My dinner tonight

Food typically doesn't photograph well - at least when the picture was taken by my cell phone. So I decided to make this picture small! I made this salad for dinner tonight and it was so good I felt it had to go in picture a day. I miss that salad already.

In the winter, I miss the greens of Michigan so much. And it seems like it takes forever for the green to come back. But when it does, it really takes my breath away! Hold on tight, there's a lot of pictures here.

Not a surprise that these cards were on clearance...

For some reason it just didn't surprise me to see these Hanukkah cards on clearance today. For one thing, it's May. For another thing, that cat looks mad. And lastly, these cards are just weird.

Blossom Trees

These trees smelled so beautiful this morning. The perfect spring smell! I'm trying something new today by making the pictures bigger. Hopefully it's not too much.
