Ha! It's kind of fun to go out and have your car covered with leaves. Way more fun than snow! I love the title of this post, too - it's like the leaves were the soldiers of summer, and have fallen to make way for...the cold? New leaves? Hmmm...I haven't thought this out all the way. I really like the frosted leaves pic!
